The short version

We do not collect personal data unless you choose to give it to us, and no analytics or advertising cookies run on this site unless you accept them first.

Cookies and measurement

When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and advertising measurement. If you accept, we load 2 tools: Google Analytics 4, which tells us which articles people read and which links they click, and the Meta pixel, which measures whether our advertising works. If you decline, neither loads, and the only thing stored is your choice itself so we do not ask again. You can clear your browser storage at any time to reset that choice.

What we collect if you email us

If you email hello@homefragrancereview.com, we keep your message and address for as long as the conversation needs. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your details with anyone.

Outbound links

Articles link to retailers, including Magnifiscent, with tracking parameters that tell the retailer the visit came from this site. That measurement identifies this site, not you. See our disclosure for how we make money.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@homefragrancereview.com and we will sort it out.
